Summer Learning 2013
Summer ASL Classes at GSD in 2013GSD will offer Basic and Intermediate ASL classes on-campus this summer. Staff interpreter Dean Evans will be teaching the class. The basic class lasts for nine weeks, beginning Tuesday, June 11, 2013, and ending August 13, 2013. The intermediate class starts on Monday, June 10, 2013, and ends August 12, 2013. Both classes lasts two hours, 5:30-7:30 p.m. For more information, contact Dean Evans at devans@doe.k12.ga.us or 706-777-2328.RESA As A ResourceThe Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) is comprised of 16 regional educational service agencies strategically located in service districts throughout the State of Georgia. The agencies were established for the purpose of sharing services designed to improve the effectiveness of the educational programs of member school systems. In addition, the RESAs assist the State Department of Education in promoting its initiatives. The RESAs inform systems of innovation and gather research on programs as needed.
